How it works

When a house or building is created, the time and space is captured that’s the reason why year of construction of the house is important for accurate analysis of the house. The energy or Wi (pronounced as Chee) that’s created and the flow determines weather it will bring prosperity or stagnation in the house.

Another aspect in Feng Shui is the Ming Gua of the occupants which is calculated based on the year of birth and the gender. The Ming Gua determines the best directors suitable for the person. This Ming Gua gives your personal trigram, as this is what affects your personality and your health.

As a consultant, when I vest the place, I analyse the interaction of Qi in the environment and the Ming Gua of all the occupants. If the occupants have a scaled floor plan of the house/office. I would use that and if not, I will measure the space and draw a floor plan.

Next Step is creating the chart for the house, and to recommend solutions to enhance the positive area and to diminish all the negative places in the house through shapes, colors and five elements.

For a beginner reading about Feng Shui, it can be quite confusing and the more you research about it on the internet or books. It gets even more confusing. There are many different methods of Feng Shui. Some call it Schools of Feng Shui. There are some schools which are very easy to follow and apply, whereas some are very advanced and require a master to fully comprehend the techniques. Fend Shui basically originated in China and have been tested and applied for thousands of years ago.

  • Yin Feng Shui: Also known as the San He School, it’s the most ancient of all Feng Shui and was used by masters in China for burials grounds. This type of Feng Shui took years to yield its result. For this reason, Yin Shui is not popular for residential or commercial spaces.
  • Form School of Feng Shui: This is one of the oldest schools of Feng Shui, which was practiced thousands of years ago. It does not require a magnetic compass, but it studies the landforms for Qi patterns and includes yin and yang components. But these days, Form school is combined with other schools to get better and effective results.
  • Black Hat Tantric Feng Shui: Started in 1986 by Thomas Lin Yun. He simplified Feng Shui and introduced it in the western world with the Bagua System, which is largely based on symbolism. It is very simple system to follow and mostly follows on positive mind and use of decorative enhancers for its cures. However, this system does not consider time nor magnetic direction(space).
  • The compass school: As the name suggests, it uses the compass reading and few Feng Shui techniques and formulas. The compass school uses the eights trigrams to demarcate the fortunate and unfortunate sections of the building high also causes lots of confusion as according to this school, there are four auspicious sectors and four inauspicious area of the building, which is seems impractical. This system does not consider Time factor into its reading.
  • Classical Feng Shui: Traditional Feng Shui method also known as Xuan Gong Schools (Time and Space). This one of the most powerful and long-lasting methods Feng Shui. Xuan Gong da Gua (Trigram method), which consist of analysis of the environment and Xuan Kong Fei Xing also referred to as the Flying Stars. The date of construction and date of birth of the occupants are both taken into consideration and charts are prepared accordingly, to give better and accurate remedies, which are extremely beneficial.
